Often we are asked about the medical facilities in Sri Lanka, and when they learn how accessible, efficient, and affordable the system is, they often explore options that may be more difficult to arrange at home for various reasons. Sri Lanka offers a comprehensive, modern medical system that is easy to access and delivers fast, reliable results.

As part of our Palm Stay Programme, we can arrange the following medical tests for you to explore, if you wish:

  • Full blood count
  • Cholesterol screening
  • Blood sugar testing

These tests are carried out at a local private hospital just minutes away. The entire process typically takes no more than 15 minutes, and your results are sent directly to your mobile phone within three hours — yes, that really is less than three hours!

Optional Wellness Upgrade

For guests seeking a more comprehensive health overview, we also offer a full-body medical assessment, including personal escort and support throughout your visit.

This advanced assessment includes diagnostics such as:

  • Heart monitoring
  • Sonar scanning
  • Detailed laboratory testing

All tests are conducted at a leading private hospital in Colombo and can be seamlessly arranged as part of your stay.

Approximately one week later, a doctor will privately discuss your results with you, providing a full and detailed medical report for you to take home.

MRI Scans

If you feel an MRI scan would be beneficial, this can also be organised during your visit to Colombo. Appointments are usually available within a day or two of booking.
