Our villa is ideally located for exploring Sri Lanka’s southern coast, nearby beaches, cultural landmarks, and popular day-trip destinations. All travel times are approximate, traffic, time of day, weather and so on can of course change things but we want to give you an idea. The nearest stunning beach is only 1 mile away but we have listed other beaches of interest below. The beaches on the southern coast are all beautiful and you will constantly have your mind refreshed at the natural unspoilt beauty.

WEATHER

Travelling around the island means experiencing a range of temperatures, so we recommend researching each area in advance—particularly the hilly regions—to ensure you are prepared for changing conditions.

Our location sits at the southernmost point of the island, where daily temperatures typically range between 29°C and 32°C everyday. Due to high humidity, it often feels several degrees warmer. Even during rainfall, the climate remains hot and humid. For this reason, clothing should be very lightweight and breathable. A small umbrella is a useful item to have on hand—not only for rain, but more importantly for protection from the sun, which can be particularly intense at certain times of the year and during the middle of the day.
