Island Bedroom
Wake each morning in a bright, airy bedroom with sweeping views that transform throughout the day. Soft white curtains billow gently in the warm breeze, filling the room with a sense of effortless calm.
Spacious circular wicker chairs invite you to settle in and watch the world outside — elegant peacocks wander gracefully through the gardens, while kingfishers and parrots add vibrant flashes of colour against the green of the paddy fields. The villa’s natural beauty feels alive here, yet deeply peaceful.
The Island Bedroom an adults only room, earned its name from its unusual beginning: when the builder was asked to place the concrete-based bed in the centre of the room, he found the request so curious and different that he jokingly called it “the island.” The name stayed — and today, it’s everyone’s favourite room, spoken of fondly by guests and, of course, by the builder himself.
The bed a super king size with an additional 6 inches length for any tall guests ( as are all beds), includes built-in lighting and fan controls for ease and comfort. At sunrise, draw back the curtains and watch as the sky blushes with soft colours that spill over the palms and rice fields. Depending on the season, the paddy fields sway in the breeze — a mesmerising sight that feels almost dreamlike.
The room’s generous space includes a comfortable seating area — perfect for reading or quiet conversation — and features air conditioning, elegant wall lighting, and a modern droplets chandelier that scatters soft light across the ceiling’s white panels and dark-stained beams.
Floor-to-ceiling French doors open from the centre, letting in a refreshing breeze. Another door leads onto the veranda, where there is seating and a table along with the tropical fishes whom are pet like as they are always keen to say hello to you. There are floating steps from the room that connects you to the TV room above. All doors are fully lockable, ensuring your privacy, safety, and a constant feeling of calm and control.
The adjoining bathroom is equally very spacious, with a full shower system and hot water — though at a steady 30°C, most find the warm air itself enough. We supply Shampoo/Conditioner and shower gels and soaps along with additional ladies items.
